Yes, it’s been some time since my last post. Life has a way of getting, shall we say, interesting. However I’m back in a different way. You see I have spent the last few months working on a board game that I have come up with. Hence the title: Pivoting. In a way however, this is fitting for this blog since one of my themes is Flexibility and being open to new paths.
Youtube has become something that can really engage me in a variety of ways; all the way from stupid fun to thought provoking video essays. So it’s not surprising that videos about games and design is one of my latest Rabbit Holes I have been spelunking. Something that I have noticed is that many creative people, and not just game designers have blogs about their ongoing experiences.
Oh! Wait! I have a blog! 🙂 I can do that too! So that’s what I’m going to be doing here.
At this point The basic design is set for this Fantasy/Adventure board game I’m designing. Which has the working title of “Legends of the Broken Realms”. Eventually I’ll come up with something sexxier. A few loose ends need to be tidied up and then I can begin to make a more polished prototype.
